Nonsensical Rambling......

Hello!

Haven't posted in quite a while. Well, kinda for good reason...We just came back from out winter break. I spent about three weeks in the Philippines visiting my mom's family (my mom is Chinese, though. Reason as to why they are there traces back all the way to the start of Communist China :P It's quite interesting). It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I mean, spent a lot of time eating and hanging out with my relatives, who would mainly consists of my aunts, uncles and little cousins who are seriously no higher than my waist (I'm about 5'4"). I think that the lack of college applications would've made the trip so much better, though. Oh well, what can you do? Gotta go to college someday. Got to see loads of movies that I've been wanting to watch, such as: Chicken Little (hilarious), Chronicles of Narnia (nice), Final Fantasy: Advent Children (coolio), and lots lots more. Oh, and I got to change my hair color, though it was seriously not my fault. My mom thinks that I'm a redhead now. See, I have jet black hair (tends to happen when your mom is 100% chinese and your dad is hispanic/peruvian) and I went into this salon owned by this guy from Hong Kong. He's supposed to be really famous and good at things such as highlights and streaks. All I wanted was to get some streaks in my hair and the guy said that he was going to "take care of everything, so there is nothing to worry about". So he goes ahead and changes my base color to a lighter brown and puts in some reddish highlights. Mind you, it doesn't exactly look bad, but it was quite a shocker at first. :P He knew what he was doing, though: he said that he wanted to "soften my look because the jetblack hair made me look too hispanic" (oh, gee, i wonder....)

Neways, this was bout three weeks ago, so now I've gotten used to my hair :P Now I'm stuck with IB classes and other things. Not too much fun. Actually, it's not so bad right not, but it's gonna really suck when the exams come up. Oh well. It's my last year, and I might as well make the most of it. Everyone has guaranteed that college will be a lot better, so I guess I have something to look forward to...Maybe I'll take a year off. I dunno, I guess I'd better get accepted into college first. I can't believe that they're sending me my rejection/acceptance letters on April 1st. Figure they wanna play with my poor little mind a little before they break the news to me: "Dear Applicant, we regret to inform you...April Fool's Day!!!!!!!!!!!!" Yeah, I can see it all....oh, joy. Life is just peachy.

Okay, I'm off to do my Anthropology homework. Yep, studying Sex, Marriage and Family :P Gosh, high school...

Almost there...

‘ello, peeps!

Ugh, well, I have my French exam tomorrow :S Not looking forward to that, especially since it’s gonna be a mock IB exam (for all those people who know what I’m talking about). I suppose that it won’t be too bad (knock on wood) since most of it will be mainly reading comprehension, which generally does not turn out so horribly. *sigh* But thank goodness that it’s my last exam! Then I’m free at last :D My dad is coming on Saturday, so my mom has been urging me to finish writing my college essays so that my dad can help me edit and stuff. I’m happy that he’s returning for Christmas; I can’t say that we get enough time together as a family. His job really sends him everywhere so it is a major drawback. Oh well. I mean, he loves his job and everything, but traveling really does age a person in a short amount of time. I think that the Christmas break will be good for him, as long as he really does take advantage of it and not touch any work for that whole time. In the perfect world, that may happen. I dunno about reality; I’m hoping that it will turn out that way for my dad’s sake (

Well, my sister is also coming back for the break. She’s in her second year of college and she’s pretty eager to get back home. Naturally, she’s gonna be loaded with a bunch of things that we ordered and sent to her dorm :P (aka movies, clothes, etc), so we’re gonna need a crane to move everything back to our apartment. She’s getting here on the 22nd and we leave the next day to the Philippines; she’s gonna be soooooo jetlagged! Poor girl. But she’ll manage :P She usually does adjust herself pretty well; when it comes to sleep, there is no problem (well, so long as there is no laptop/computer to keep her occupied during the night, thus not helping her jetlaggedness). Hehehe. Overall, I’m just happy that we’re all gonna be together for the holidays (

Besides that, not much has been going on lately. I spent another lazy day in the art room attempting to finish my art piece. I have to go back tomorrow to finish it, so that my teacher can grade it and critique it and what not. :P I can’t believe that I have to have 24 pieces done by the end of next semester! Ack! I’m gonna be sooooooo screwed. I only have twelve pieces now, so I have to get moving, since we’re already done with the first semester. AP Art is not all fun and games, but it is soooooo much better than HL Art, which I hear is a huge pain due to the fact that the students taking it have to keep a sketchbook in which they write everything down and they have to have two sketchbooks for each year of the two year course. Two sketchbooks! I can hardly fill out one in two years and they need one sketchbook for each year! Talk about harsh. No thanks; I like AP Art just fine.

Ugh, it’s 11:12 pm right now, so I’d better be getting to sleep :P I’ll post for ya peeps again l8er after my LAST exam!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hehehehe.

CYA!!

Lalalalalalala............

BOOYAH!!

LOL. Well, okay. It's only Sunday, but hey, that means that I only have one more exam till I'm FREEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, if you take out the fact that I still have to do college essays and probably crank up the phyics practice...not to mention the mental preparation for next semester. Oh well. I guess that's just the fun part about going on vacation: you get to dread the return back home. :S Wherever that may be...Speaking of which, both my dad and my older sister are coming home. My older sister is gonna come back on the 22nd, and my dad I believe comes back on this Saturday. Then we can all skeedadle on the 23rd to go to the Philippines. Yippeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!! My sister is pretty excited. So is my dad, but, I mean, he's also somewhat, um, busy, which is pretty much a huge understatement, but so sue me for not coming up with a better way of putting it. Funny thing is, he was on a business trip with some other collegues to Monterrey, Mexico (from Mexico City). The plane had taken off and had some time later landed back down in Mexico City, due to too much fog in Monterrey. One of my dad's collegues (who is Austrian; yeah, my dad works in Vienna and they were flying from there. The guy was pretty miffed about how unorganized the Mexican airport was) said, "Oh, good! We've landed in Monterrey, finally!" My good 'ole dad nearly didn't have the heart to tell the guy that they had landed right where they had taken off from. My dad found it pretty funny, and was itching to tell the other guy that they'd have to catch a plane to the office, since it was, oh, so far away. :P My silly daddy.

On the other hand, my sister is gonna be coming in from Boston. She says that it's pretty cold there (another understatement) with all the snow and everything. She's having a few of her own mid-term exams. Not too exciting, since she has two take-homes and her computer just crashed. And it was new by two weeks. Cheap Gateway. My mom was pretty ticked off to say the least, since my sister had previously bought a Toshiba and instead exchanged it for the Gateway. Not a very good trade, in my opinion, but then again, I wasn't exactly there to tell her so. Eeeesh. Well, I just have my fingers crossed that she'll be able to find a good computer quickly, so that she can go into her mid-terms armed. :) And after that, she gets to come home. Yipppeeee!!!

Neways, there isn't much else going on, except for the fact that I still have to go to school in order to finish off my art project. Gee, AP Art can be such a burden sometimes. :( Oh, well. Half the fun is complaining (at least MY glass is half full!). It's getting kinda chilly, but not really. Actually, I'm surprised that it's not colder, since the last few winters have been pretty cold. However, the weather has been subject to change for the past year, so I suppose that weird weather is to be expected for the time being. *Sigh* Everything is so unpredictable.

You know, speaking of unpredictable, I saw a really strange video the other night. It was about the plane crash into the Pentagon during 9/11. It covered a really interesting topic: there's a theory that the Pentagon was not in fact attacked by a plane, but by something else...like a missile or explosives. People are led to believe this because witnesses said that they had not heard a Boeing 757 (or whatever it was) fly overhead. Instead, it sounded like a missile. Another factor is the fact that there was no evidence at the sight of damage in the building. A plane would have left remains of the wings and stuff (plane crashes tend to be a bit messy), not to mention the remains of the victims, and also, wouldn't tanks of airplane fuel add a bit of a blast to the whole hitting-into-the-building thing? From what is displayed in the video, the whole left in the building was a rather round and neat one. Not one left by a plane (since there were no seared off wings or anything), but perhaps explosives. It was pretty interesting, but man, the video left me with the creeps. Seriously. Well, if anyone is interested in looking at the video, here's the link:
http://www.sahaskatta.com/html/videos_2.html#Main The home website of the link is called 'Sahas Katta' and here's the link: http://www.sahaskatta.com/ (the video is under the 'Videos' section on page 2, I believe) Check it out...

Ok, well, I'm gonna end this post here. My thoughts are running dry and I'm pretty tired. I'll post for ya peeps l8er.

Cya!!

P.S. 'Somebody's gonna geta hurt real bad.' ~ Russell Peters :D Hehehehe. The picture above is one that I drew out of pure boredom about a year or so ago. Based off of The Legend of Zelda for those uninformed. It a drawing that I did on MSPaint, and I mean completely (except for Link, the guy sitting down. I did him in pencil). Oh, and it was a BLOODY PAIN! SO NOT EASY! :S Neways, hope you guys like it. :D

Two more exams......... :D

HIYA!!

Yep, the Christmas break is coming up! It's something worth celebrating since that means the end of exams! Hurrah! :D:D:D:D Hehehehe...Oh well. I'm hoping for a good and relaxing break. I'm seriously in need of one. Exams started yesterday and I've gotten two out of the way, and I have two more coming up. So basically, I can do nothing more than study and wait for them to come. My weekend is, has been, and will be a total sum of zilch activities done. Gosh, my life can be so boring sometimes. At least the week from Hell is over. *Sighs with relief*

I was watching Russell Peters' Stand Up comedy the other day...strange character, he is. Funny, nonetheless, though he is kinda vulgar and uses a lot of sort of racist comments as basis for his humor. I suppose that one finds it kind of tasteless at times, but I don't think that it's necessarily something that I would all out reject. He makes it work, as opposed to other people who have also used race as a source of jokes and stuff (especially since he can imitate people so well :P You have to watch him in order to get what I'm saying). So it's cool. :D

Ugh, well, my mind is at a total blank right now, so this is gonna be a really short post :) Maybe I can come up with more things to write later. But right now, sleep sounds like a good idea, even though it's 10:30 pm and I only got up at 12 pm :P (btw, I had at least two or three of the strangest dreams. What's even weirder is that I can remember what they were about! And usually, that doesn't happen). Ok, I guess I've rambled on senselessly long enough.

Have a good weekend everyone :)

Tiger :D

P.S. The image above is a wallpaper thay my friend made and sent to me. I think that the swirly yellow background is soooooooooooo awesome. As for the little banana-eating dude in the center...lol, it's a long story ;)

Yakitty-yak-yak...

Ugh, the start of a new week and it doesn't get any better. Well, my weekend was totally and 100% shut. Basically, I had no weekend, and it's bound to be an experience that will frequently repeat itself since exams are coming up this week. Blah. Gee, I really can't wait till exams are over. I've resolved to go watch a movie this weekend. I feel that I really need a break, and something to get my mind off of studying, even if for only an hour. I mean, after all, I'll be done with my physics exam by after Thursday, so there is my worst anticipated exam out of the way in a couple days (though I'm soooooooooo nervous about it right now :S). Maybe I can catch some Seinfeld stand up comedy :P My teacher has a video in her room and I watched it last year during exams. Was freakin' hilarious, I tell you! Too bad I was laughing by myself :( Oh well. Maybe I can lasso a couple of people up and drag them to her room. We are all in need of a break and a few laughs (we're seriously lacking at the present moment. The senior class is crawling with zombie like allnight-pulling shells. TOO much WORK!!!!).

Hmmm...Listening to "The Story of A Girl" by Three Doors Down. Pretty interesting, but it's a great song. I've been really into loud songs over the past few days and have added a whole bunch of new ones onto my music library over the past couple of days (Blink 182, Led Zeppelin, Boxcar Racer, Three Doors Down, Evanescence, yeah, there's the main gist of it...) Ahhhh..."Stay Together For the Kids" by Blink 182...quite a little discovery. You people out there should check it out. :) Just don't have your speakers/headphones on full blast :P or you risk losing whatever remains of your hearing. No joke.

Oh, gosh! Christmas is coming! Oh wow! The semester's been going by pretty quickly, actually. It's week per week that seems to drag on forever. Ugh. My family and I are going to the Philippines to go visit my mom's side of the family...So that's gonna be nice. Haven't seen them in a couple of years, so I think that my mom is kind of excited (though she doesn't always express it out loud). We have a month of X-mas break! :D Wow, what a break! Oh crap. College applications to finish. I forgot about that :P SHoooooooooot. Well, I basically have all of the college essays and writing parts to fill out. My dad is supposed to help me when he gets here (in terms of editing and stuff), but I think that my priority lies presently in studying for my exams and skimming right over the pass/fail line. :S Ack.

Is it just me, or are being people a little more sneaky than usual? Maybe it's just my school (it's sooooo messed up, I tell you. Ok, not really. It provides me with a GREAT education and I'm pretty lucky to be enrolled in it, but I don't think that it's necessarily the classes that I'm talking about...), or rather, the people in it. Yep, the students. To sum it all up in a few words, my school is a freakin' soap opera. People love the drama of really small things, it's amazing. Maybe whoever is reading this has no clue what I'm saying, but if whoever-is-reading-this does, then I suppose that I really won't have to go into great detail in order to explain what I'm trying to say. Ah, well, to put things simply, there are too many couples in my school, that are going completely out of whack. Guy likes girl. Girl likes guy. Guy + Girl = Going out. Happy Ending? Only for a couple of months... Guy + screwed up priorities = text messaging a break up with Girl. Girl + seeing another girl (who supposedly has a BF) flirt with Guy = pretty P.O.'d Girl. So yeah, basically, the works. Funny how this type of situation never seems to die out. It's all one incredibly vicious cycle with no end...each time just tends to be just as dramatic, or so I observe. LOL. My school has proven to be rather interesting over the past few years :)

Anyways, that was a good bit of rambling there. :P Ugh. Maybe I can apply some of this rambling talent to my Creative Writing assignment. Writer's block is a curse, especially for a poor soul how HAS no writing talent. The world is so unfair, but that's just life, I suppose (Wow, that's my philosophical highlight of the day!). *Sigh* Guess that means I'd better get back to the dreaded 8-letter word that I'm becoming allergic to (starts with an 'h' and ends with a 'k'. That about gives it away...I think :P) Oh, listening to "There Is" by Boxcar Racer :D Good song.

Neways, cya peeps l8er!

P.S. I was experimenting with the image loading thingymajiggy and thus came the image above. It's an image from Kingdom Hearts 2 (I think...PS2, I believe), and I really love it, though it IS just a bottle :) What can I say? I'm easily amused ;) But then, who isn't?

Weekend is finally here...

Hello hello!

As the title indicates, the week is finally over...for school that is. We start exams at the end of next week, so I'm a bit jittery about that. :P I have SATs tomorrow, so I'm kinda nervous for that also. But what can I do? They say that a bit of nervousness is always good for a test. Ha! Sometimes I wonder...

Ahh...Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is finally in theaters and I really wanna see that, but I guess that'll have to wait since I have to first pass the first semester of my senior year. :( Been averaging about 4 hours of sleep a night, so I need all the time I can get to finish everything. But of course I need to take a time out here and there :P Chicken Little and Rent looked pretty kewl also. I can't wait to see those :D

Neways, my life is not that interesting thus far. So I guess that I'll leave it here. Ugh, it's a really short post, but oh well. Maybe I'll have better luck and things to talk about next time :)

Hiya!

Yeah, newbie here. :) I'm not the most technologically well-rounded individual on the face of this planet, but oh well. Suppose that there is always something new to do, and I guess this is my 'new' thing as of now. :P Anyways, today was an, um, interesting day, to say the least. Not really all that eventful, but interesting nonetheless. This week has been promised to be the week from hell, so for the next seven days, I'm gonna be visiting the seven rings of hell, and hopefully I'll survive. If there is one thing that I'm thankful for, it's the fact that I'm not taking the Full IB Program :D Hehehehe. Nope, HL2 Physics is enough for me. It's bloody academic suicide, to put it mildly, as the rest of my fellow HL2 Physics kamikazes would probably put it. Aghhhhhhh...I can't believe the things that we have to do for that class. Seriously, my life is revolving around that whole entire class at this point in time. Speaking of classes, I have to attend to that. *sigh* I have NO life :( Hope this week ends quickly.
