Hullo all,
Well, IB exams are finished for me since Friday. I'm totally dreading getting the results back since the exams did kinda suck (well, some of them at least), namely physics, but I'm guessing that at this point, it's history. SOooooooooooo...yeah. Today's been a complete waste of my time. The only real class that I had was Creative Writing, and even then, there wasn't much to do. Afterwards, I had art, which became a flex, since I'm basically done with the AP stuff, and then I had my normal flex, and then I had physics...and we watched another movie (we saw one last class, too) :P. *sigh* These are gonna be some awfully slow weeks, but I know that at the end of it, I'm not going to want them to end, as expected. And to add on to this relatively unproductive day, I think that one of my friends is upset with me, which is kinda bad, considering that he doesn't get mad very easily, or very often for that matter. I think he's upset because I've been telling him that we have to do something together over the weekend, and I never seem to have the time to actually physically do something. Well, this is my fault, but I dunno. I don't think that it was fair for him to be mad at me. We'll see what happens, I guess. I hope to make it up to him, but I dunno whether or not I should be annoyed or feeling bad at this point...
Um, so graduation sign-ups are over and done with. I'm happy with my partner, probably cuz we've been friends for quite a while, and I thought it woulda been wrong if we didn't finish the years as graduation partners, do I didn't really give him a choice in sign-ups. I just hope he's happy.
Prom is also this weekend. I'm taking my little sister as my date (she's in 10th grade). I said might as well, since we're moving this year, and the poor kid wouldn't be able to experience any other social event, so might as well. I'm happy to take her, and I hope that she has a good time. Well, I mean, come on, that was one EXPENSIVE ticket, I must say...more expensive than my sister's dress (well, the dress was only $25, though it's quite nice)! :P
Ugh, I have nothing more to say right now. My life is kind of cruising, so this'll be a short post. L8er!

Birthday, IB...um, yeah.
Hey Peeps!
Well, it's been a while, but I guess that I've got exams to pin that on, 'specially those DUMB IB exams!! UGH! Those are seriously tearing people apart right now, so at the moment, most of the upperclassmen are just going about the halls complaning about the sadistic, big-foreheaded people at the IB. Most of us have been already accepted to college, but some people's complete admission really depends on how well they do on the IB, so yeah, people are still somewhat hanging on the edge with anxiety and stress. Typical typical. Well, I took Paper 1 of my English IB HL exam. It was okay: unseen commentary, but the two choices that they gave us (I thought) were bloody annoying. Looking back, I see that the two choices were somewhat simple to understand once i completely grasped what was being said. *sigh* Pressure does amazing things to a person. Sux. Oh well, hopefully I didn't do too badly on it. I don't think I did *knock on wood*. Ahhhhhhhh...I have English Paper 2 on Monday, and then Paper 1 & 2 for Physics HL on Tuesday afternoon. Then on Wednesday, I have Paper 3 for physics! Joy........ugh. And then I finally finish my exams on Friday with my HL French Papers 1 & 2. French is one of my easier exams in my opinion. I probably can't speak the language for beans, but my comprehension is not all that bad. We'll see how it turns out I guess. After all, this is pretty much the last stretch of the year, and the GRADUATION! HAhHAHAHA!! 30 days...wow, can't believe that we graduate in a month. It's gone by so quickly, and yet, each week is incredibly tedious. Ack! It's relativity at work! Einstein really did know what he was talking about, though I'm sometimes forced to think that he was barking mad...sometimes. But most of the time, he was pretty sharp, so I'll stop complaning 'bout Einstein now :P
Well, I suppose that's school for now. I'm gonna be attending like 6 classes throughout the entire week, given that I have my stupid exams to go to, which take a long time to do. I don't really expect for my other classes to really assign any heavy homework or anything, but if they do, then I'm screwed. *sigh* Oh well, I guess this is it, so I should focus more on studying than, say, homework for creative writing. Oh holy moley! I have to finish my AP Art portfolio by Saturday (i think). I'm gonna go in tomorrow to straighten the technical things out, like the information for all the pieces, sticking pictures of all the pieces on a CD, picking my quality pieces, etc., etc., etc. Again, really tedious, but I'll be real happy when I'm over and done with it, so I suppose that's something to look forward to, so long as I do it well.
Hmmmmm.....okay, enough of school, I guess. One can only stand talking about it for so long. Talk about desperation :P Jk. AH! I'm finally 18! Well, not like that's a super huge step, given that 18 doesn't feel any different from 17. And on top of that, I got people asking me if I'm sure that I turned 18 or if I turned 8. Says a lot about maturity, which is seriously overrated. Hehehehe. Well, I guess one can't be overly mature. It's always nice to have a kid somewhere inside of you, so as to avoid becoming 100% boring. College is gonna be mighty interesting I have to say... :P Gonna have to find a new definition for 'adult' for dear old Mr. Webster, 'cause 'technically' I'm an adult. Question is whether or not one really adheves (sp?) to such a role (well, if it IS a role, which I think it is because being 18, I am officially recognized as an adult in the US, I can vote, go to clubs, get arrested, get a check book and LOADS more...). Yep, college is gonna be VERY interesting....
Neways, back to the fact that I'm 18. I celebrated it this past weekend. My friends organized an early surprise party for me, which I'll admit wasn't a complete, 100% surprise, since I was expecting, or at least SOMETHING, given all the hints that were passed to me during the course of that day. I'll tell you what DID surprise me: the amount of people that DID show up, as well as the number of people who were EXPECTED to show up. I felt pretty overwhelmed, and while, again, I wasn't so so surprised, I was pretty shocked by seeing too many familiar bodies jump out at me at the same time. I really liked the party, though, mainly because it was (a) pretty well thought out given that we had just returned from spring break a few days before and they had planned it about a month before without my knowing at all and (b) the people there consisted of a wide variety of folks. I mean, in school, I kind of migrate from group to group, so I'm pretty hard to find (as people, tell me, as if I were some kind of Mexican jumping bean with no destination). Point is, the party consisted of all these different people who usually don't hang out together, and it was really nice, cause then i got to spend time with all (or at least most) of the people with whom I'd have wanted to celebrate my birthday with (okay, dunno if that grammatically made sense, but continue...). All in all, I really appreciated and give tons to credit to all the people (mainly one or two people) who did all the planning to make my 18th birthday special. It really was in the end :D Oh, and one of my friends (or more, I dunno. Supposedly people 'chipped' in, but I can't confirm that since these people are so stubborn) gave me a Genius Drawing Tablet. It's pretty kewl. Even my dad was impressed. I've tried experimenting with it, and finally got the hang of it after trying to figure out how to set it up for over an hour (the manual doesn't help me very much). It's a really sweet present, since I'm really the artsy type. I'm guessing that the present was a way to give my drawings a technology twist. LOL. Hehehe...Wonder what things will come outta this tablet in the future. Only time will tell, well, at least when the summer rolls around.
Okay, given that this post is getting excessively long and i'm getting sleepy, I think that I'll stop it here. Gotta get to school tomorrow at around 10 am to sort AP stuff anyways :( Oh well. C'est la vie. Ojala que mejora al termino de los examenes, inshallah!
Cheerios!!

P.S. Oh, one last thing: My technologically inclined friend made me this E-card/wallpaper for my birthday. He says
that he has no artistic flair, but I think that the fact that he has a knack for making pretty dynamic wallpapers would kinda sorta force him to eat his words, but I'd rather wait for him to admit it himself. Pretty stubborn mind, that child, but it mainly serves for good purposes, so no harm in that :P No, it was pretty thoughtful for him to do this, since he SHOULD HAVE been studying for his Math exam or SLEEPING like every average individual usually does. Yeah, I'll tell him off later, but now, I'm going to sleep. I put this piccie as my wallpaper, but then my mom was complaining that she couldn't see the icons on my desktop. My mom is not the type into loud colors on flat screens, just like she's not to into playing things like PlayStation or Nintendo 64, cuz she says that the graphics make her dizzy. But hey, she kicks but at Super Nintendo, in Zelda: A Link to the Past, Star Fox, Super Mario, and more! :P Okay, now I'm going to bed. Nite!! :D
